Sarai Schneider has been working as a therapeutic massage therapist since 2002 after graduating with honors from the National Holistic Institute in San Francisco. She also participated in a yearlong, hospital based Integrative Medicine and Spirituality Certificate Program with California Pacific Medical Center. While there, Sarai provided gentle massage and energy work to patients in various stages of critical health at their bedside as well as to their families and caregivers. She has a long and fulfilling history working solely in therapeutic, integrative health environments. In addition to her massage work, Sarai also completed a two year shamanic training with Malidoma Some, PhD, and West African Elder and has traveled twice to Burkina Faso, West Africa to deepen her studies.
Sarai’s massage style is very intuitive and integrative, combining various modalities such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release techniques to create a session unique to each individuals needs. She has an attention to detail that has become one of her specialties if you are requiring area specific focus and work, Sarai strongly believes in compassionate care as part of the healing journey. She has a nurturing touch and often incorporates energy work, essences, and essential oils into her sessions. In addressing the physical holding patterns, she often likes to investigate the emotional aspect of these patterns with gentle inquiry, particularly in ongoing, chronic conditions. What is it that keeps us holding on to these patterns?
